Celebrating St. Patrick's Day

Who We Are.

Enriched Living of Michigan is a non-profit organization operating Adult Foster Care (AFC) State-licensed homes for adults with disabilities.

We opened our doors in 2015 and it’s been an amazing journey ever since! We started with just one home, and are proud to say we opened the doors to our sixth and newest home Barso Acres in 2021.

The entire staff of Enriched Living is honored to serve our residents, and we can’t wait to see what the future brings!

Independence. Education. Opportunity.

OUR MISSION

To create warm and welcoming homes that encourage independence and opportunity for adults with disabilities. We create communities of support for our residents and their families through advocacy and education.

PASSIONATE ABOUT OUR RESIDENTS

Our residents mean the world to us, and we want them to live their best life every day at Enriched Living. We make it top priority to get to know every resident on a personal level so that our homes reflect their personalities and interests.

INCLUSIVE CULTURE

No matter your history, you are welcomed with open arms. No judgment. Everyone at Enriched Living wants the best for our residents from the moment they join our family and for the rest of their time!  Come as you are; we are ready.

EMPLOYEE FOCUSED

Without our fantastic staff we would not be able to provide the care and environment that we do. If our employees are having a good time at work, they carry that positivity into our residents’ day-to-day lives. Our goal is that every employee of Enriched Living feels empowered to be the best care provider they can be. Employee satisfaction is another top priority!

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

Our motto is “Keep it Movin”, so that we are constantly reminding our residents (and staff) to keep it moving. Physical Activity – tailored to each resident’s ability- is a part of our daily routine. From karate classes to walks outside, to chair aerobics- everyone can participate!  Enriched Living promotes healthy lifestyle choices because we want everyone to enjoy the positive mental and physical benefits!
