Programming
- Enriched Living operates 5 Adult Foster Care homes in West Michigan, Each residence is home to 6 individuals at a time and is staffed 24 hours a day by highly trained Direct Support Professionals.
- Since 2017 nearly 100 residents have experienced The Enriched Living Difference through receiving premium care, new opportunities, and a community of support.
- Enriched Living founder Laurie Labie works as a consultant to 60 plus AFC home operators in Michigan each year, working together to defeat stigma and promote best practices.
- Enriched Living provides customized trainings in house for both Enriched Living staff and outside caretakers.
- Enriched Living's management team works alongside many government and other nonprofit organizations as advocates for disability rights and resources.
Why Donations?
Enriched Living was founded as a 501c3 organization in 2018.
- Enriched Living receives funding from Community Mental Health agencies to assist in covering staffing costs and basic necessities, this funding does not cover clothing, extra cirriculars, food, rent, medical bills, operating, capital costs etc.
- 91% of Enriched Living residents are under the federal poverty limits with a vaste majority having only $44 a month in spending. Enriched Living steps in to fill financial gaps.
- Enriched Living has an exstensive waitlist with over 100 applications for placement received.

- Home Maintenance and Upgrades
- Extra cirricular activities
- Operational costs including offering livable wages to round the clock staff
- Basic necessities and immediate needs of residents
